BLUE LOTUS aka NYMPHAEA CAERULEA
20G - $18.95
Premium petals ready to roll! No stems or husks.
This flower contains nuciferine and amorphine. In low doses it has a calming effect with a clear mind. In high doses it can become euphoric and trancelike. It has been used for thousands of years in Egypt, India, Asia and Pacific Islands. Buddha is often depicted with a lotus flower and consuming it will give you that great smile!
In Ancient Egypt, Blue Lotus was seen as a symbol of the sun and the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, reflecting its daily blooming and closing. It was believed to connect individuals with the divine world and open a pathway to the afterlife.
In Buddhism, Blue Lotus symbolizes the purity of the body, speech, and mind, floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire.
The Mayans also recognized the value of the Blue Lotus, incorporating it into their herbal medicine and spiritual practices.
You can smoke this plant just like weed! Just roll it up and go! It's not as thick and sweet as weed, so I recommend blending it with peppermint or chamomile for flavour.
However the chemicals are largely water soluable, so its much more effective as tea. Here's how:
For a light effect, giddy, happy and calm:
● Take 1-2 grams and add to almost boiling water, 90°C for 5-10 mins and drink like green tea.
● Or add to room temp distilled water and leave in a sunny window for 24 hrs. Drink warmed up or iced.
● I add a tsp of vanilla and maple extract and brown sugar to add some fullness.
For heavier effects, euphoric with heavy laughter and gregarious nature:
● Take 3-4 grams per person and put in a small pot with just enough water to cover it. Bring to almost a boil and then turn it to low. Brew it for at least 3 hours up to 8 hours. Leave lid on and let sit over night. Strain the next day and drink in shots.
● Take 7-10 grams and add to Red wine and let sit in a dark cold place for a week, then drink the wine. The chemistry alters and it becomes very euphoric wine!
Note: I am not an herbalist, doctor, physician, scientist, chemist, psychologist, visionary, witch, shamen, or really an expert in anything. I'm just an ordinary person sharing information about plants that worked for me and people I know! Do research and see for yourself! Just sayin'...
If you are having bad anxiety or depression and are experiencing thoughts of harm to yourself or others, I urge you to seek proper help. Tea isn't gonna cut it!
